My little cousin got married in September. We were invited but we just couldn't make it... school had started by only a couple of days and we simply couldn't take the boys off to Italy... I was sad because leaving away you don't get to attend many family reunions and weddings are always such a happy occasion!
So we didn't go...
And three months on I realised that the wedding present still hadn't been sent... well actually still hadn't been made! Shame on me.
Fast forward to a few charm packs later and have lift off!
I used fabrics from Janet Clare's collection for Moda called 'Nocturne'. Gorgeous patterns and dreamy colours.
A random arrangement and diagonal quilting form a classic laptop quilt to snuggle under in these cold winter nights.
For the reverse and the border I used my favourite fabric in the collection, it reminds me of a starry night.
I hope she likes it. I hope she forgives me for not attending and being so late...
Here's to many many years of happiness M!!
Beautiful and unique

It's absolutely gorgeous, those are my favourite sorts of colours. No doubt it will be very much appreciated. CJ xx
