It's been awhile.
I've turned 44. I've attended more cricket matches I care to admit. I've drowned in laundry and snotty children. I've climbed ironing mountains and started playing tennis. My car makes a horrible noise, my iphone died taking all my pictures away to the nether world. I have a sick child at home. And the dog hasn't been for a walk.
I'm also - slowly - working on this:
... using this yarn:
the colour is called 'faded'.
I won't lie. Mistakes have been made. There are lots of things to remember, charts to follow, increases to count... a pattern to maintain... but it's growing fast which is the main thing.
The simple fact that it's knitted in reverse stockinette stitch (purl side is the right side here)... was a really mental block for me. Doh.
Sigh.
See you soon.
There's laundry to fold.
More laundry.
There is always laundry. Always. I love Brooklyn Tweed pattern must check out this one.

Sadly it's no better at 45. The laundry pile is just as huge.

Happy Birthday to you! I hope that you didn't spend the actual day folding laundry. Household chores are never ending, but at least your knitting will end and the result of that will be fabulous! xx
