I know this is a very different colour palette to what I normally use... some of you 'hate' this quilt... (YOU know who you are... don't hide!), but I actually like it and have really enjoyed making it.
It's a wedding present for a lovely couple who have been through hell last year but they stuck together and battle through it all and still came out looking positively at the future. There's a lesson in that for us all; and... well... they deserve lots of happiness now and... a warm quilt to cuddle under.
I think that this quilt is beautiful, and so is the sentiment that you have expressed towards the recipients. I hope that they are together for a very long and happy time! I like the way that you have quilted it in squares as well, I haven't seen that before, but I like it!! xx

Pretty, pretty! It makes me think of those old Swedish quilts. It's such a lovely present for the happy couple.

It looks like a beautiful wedding gift. I really like it and wish the young couple many years of happiness together.

Now I feel really ashamed. Like the evil fairy at the wedding. But I'm not - I hope they will be blissfully happy and they will know they have a dear friend who truly cares about them.
