Day 3 of 1/2 term. Two out of three children at home.
8.26am. High wind, the odd shard of blue sky, 14C (57F).
There's a baby coming in the family and we don't know if it's going to be a girl or a boy.
So I made two quilts. (Any excuse...)
Because I had the fabric and the time, when the boys were in school last week.
I only hope the mother can hold on a little bit longer so I can bind the other one!!
(Does any of you techy out there know why my photos look great in my photo folder and turn totally washed out on Typepad? It really annoys me. End of rant.)
A really lovely quilt, lucky baby. No idea about your technical problem, sorry, I'm afraid I'm the very last person to ask about such things. But your photos do look lovely on my laptop if that's any consolation!

They don't look washed out to me -- they look beautiful! What a fun quilt -- big square patches are my favorite go-to for a new baby!

I am a technical numptie but I read on someone else's blog that Google+ has an automatically ticked box called auto correct colour. I wonder if that is the problem? I unticked the box (once I managed it to find it!) and I think mine look a bit better, I'm on Typepad too.
Lovely quilt!

Try saving your images as png files rather than jpg, that can help sometimes. No idea what image processing software you use, but PicMonkey allows you to save as a png.
