Busy week. Busy busy week.
Good busy, but still...
it's kind of crazy.
I'm not convinced that taking pictures of pretty ribbons arrived in the mail...
is making the best use of my time,
but you'll agree with me it is more entertaining and pleasant that the alternative involving a full sink and an empty dishwasher...
They all come from my aunt 'Golden-hands' (self appointed title, but completely justified), who in a different life could have/should have had craft blog herself. I'm sure this treasure is just the tip of the iceberg... she had a 'stash' before 'stash' was invented...
Hoarding is definitively a family trait.
Those are pretty! With all those colors, there's just tons of possibilities. Have fun. Don't worry about the dishes.

All unknowing you carried out your Good Deed of the day . Those ribbons have totally restored my good humour , which the collapse of the washing machine had threatened .
Thankyou !
Oh , I saw something very pretty a few days ago .... strips of different vintage embroidered ribbon layed in horizontal rows in a small wooden frame . Simple but very effective . They'd been made using just red and cream ribbon .... but yours would look lovely too .

Le foto sono davvero belle, come pure i ribbons, che carina la zia a mandarteli. Come li usava? Mi piace davvero l'idea di incorniciarli in un piccolo quadretto, perche' no? Starebbero benissimo. Ciao!

I was just about managing to keep myself under control and then I reached the picture of the blue and white ribbon and I was lost.

Busy is good. Dishes aren't. The ribbons are the best.

I've just found your blog when I was searching for pictures of F&Bs Cornforth White. I got sucked into your blogging vortex for far too long ;-) and have subscribed.
Love the colours you've chosen. We're in the middle of a decorating frenzy at the moment so it's lovely to see houses that are further ahead than we are!

Oh swoon. That lowest ribbon is to die for. But what will you make? A miniature patchwork?
