On Sunday we did something a little bit magical...
Under a cold September rain we didn't just enter a small circus tent but a new world...
A world of fantasy and music
and feathers and velvet and lace and jazz and drums and pots and pans and banjos.
and candy floss
and vintage dresses
and clowns and jugglers and the funniest man playing 5 recorders
and rope walking ladies
and giant animal heads, and horses, and dancing...
and
... well, running away with the circus was never on my dream list of things to do, but for a couple of hours, on a cold Sunday morning... I did go.
It looks divine

I've just read your last 3 posts one after the other. They're very funny and certainly put a smile on my face today. I totally agree about teaching parents-to-be about the guilt trip they're about to embark on!

Hello Monica,
Feathers/spit & sawdust/acrobatics! Sounds tres jolie. Not been to the circus in years.
Your cakes look fabulous.
Was at the Chelt. jazz fest not long ago... And Him-indoors works in that hospital at the mo. Doing a night shift tonight infact. Which is why I'm up late on the pooter.
Thanks for taking a peek into my world.. :-)

Is that Giffords Circus by any chance? Have been trying to convince G to go with me for two years now. Sigh. Maybe next year. Looks wonderful! K x
