If I say to you close your eyes and think of Tuscany in April... what do you imagine?

Blue sky? Warm breeze? Hot sun on ancient rooftops?

You'd be wrong.

Driving up to the village the surrounding hills were hidden by clouds

 

not what we wished for...

and baby it's cold outside

 

That is 40 F.  Sigh.

So for the past two days this was the view from the porch, or better the non-view...

 

Today we finally woke up to the 'right' sort of weather...

 

Much better, don't you think?

Let the holiday begin!

Hope the sun is shining where you are.

I'm not sure which bit of Tuscany you're in, but over here in the Valtiberina it's been freezing. There was even snow on Sunday morning. I hope you get some good weather for your holidays!
