It's becoming almost a tradition, new year new placemats.
This year I started with the boys'. A few months back I was lucky to do a fabric swap with this fab girl, and I knew as soon as I saw it that it would be perfect for the job.
Of course when you have three children close in age... everything needs to be done in triplicate:
1
2
and 3
The boys are happy (and I'm loving the heavy quilting) and since there was enough fabric left they got napkins too
Because of course my children always use napkins... never ever the back of their hands or their sleeves... ehm ehm...
Glad to hear your boys are so civilised - could they come over and sort mine out!!!!
Great fabric - and I'm loving the heavy quilting, too!!!

they look great, think the alien one is my favourite, my son wipes his hands down his side & it drives me CRAZY!

What great fabric! I'm enjoying having a baby boy, as much as I loved the girly stuff with No 1 I really love all the nice boysy stuff out there.

I love the green alien one... really cute. I give my son a napkin sometimes... it's a bit of a lost cause really, but I figure if he doesn't have one he really will never use one! Gotta love em!

These are FABULOUS!
I've got placemats on my mind at the moment. I could do with making some and these are quite inspirational. I should just get on with it! Though mine could never ever be as good as these.

I'm sure all three are the essence of refinement!

napkins, no surely not, trousers are for wiping your hands on aren't they - secretly under the table when you think your mum isn't watching.........

What bright happy boy fabric! You put them together beautifully, Monica. But did they fight over who got which one or did you let them pick beforehand? Just wondering because I remember how my three children would fight over EVERYTHING!
