THE GOOD:
Please don't ask me the name of this yarn...
I bought it years ago in Italy.
THE BAD
This is my kitchen today:
This little hole:
is now this big:
Still not big enough. Sigh.
AND THE LOVELY
My photo swap has arrived!!
Crystine sent me a gorgeous photo of shadows and branches and bird silhouette... and the most delicious turtle fabric.
And some fabulous flowers and vegetables seeds... do you think it's illegal to plant seeds from a different continent?
Thank you Christine, it was thoughtful and totally lovely!!
Wow, you made me gasp with that photo of the hole!
The photo is totally lovely indeed.

An excellent post of pictures! What a way to capture a period of life, eh?
My gosh, is that first pic of a sock? First of all, love the yarn. Secondly, please tell me it's in a sock blocker and you did not naturally knit such a rounded toe? (I'm obsessed with that which I cannot attain. LOL) And if you did, please share your secret?!

I think they are ok to plant as long as they are not an invasive species in your area :)

The good is wonderfully good, the lovely beautifully so and the bad - well, I certainly don't envy you that hole in the wall and the dust that it's bound to create. I hope it's not too long before you're enjoying your lovely new kitchen and the mess is just a distant and hazy memory!
