Day 1 of 1/2 term. Two out of three children at home.
8.00am. Lashing rain, grey sky, 14C (57F).
The house is very still. I can hear the wind and the rain outside and the ticking of the kitchen clock behind me.
I like it.
I'm thinking that maybe I need to frog the shawl I started yesterday and begin again with bigger needles. It'll make it softer and more drapey. Also my M1L produce very small holes and the M1R much larger ones; will they even out with blocking? Help.
Pattern: 'textured shawl', on Ravelry.
For records' sake I declare chocolate chip digestives, dark chocolate, it goes without saying, the best biscuits/cookies ever made.
I really must go and have a shower; it's time to admit the day has started. We don't want to be left behind now, do we?
Have a good one. Stay dry.
