When in doubt call the professionals.
Now that knitting season is approaching I turned my attention to my growing 'collection' of circular needles. Useful as they are they're a total nightmare to store.
For a while I had them in a deep box. Yes, you can imagine what a laugh it was trying to find the right size! (Have you ever seen a 'ball' of circular needles?)
Then last year I stuffed them into a horrible black ringbinder inside slippery open top sleeves.
(urgh, that's got to be the ugliest photo I've ever posted)
'Slippery open top' being the key words here. I mean... it worked ok as a system... but it ever happen that you picked it up upside down by mistake... well the 'flaw' in the plan would became apparent VERY QUICKLY. Don't ask me how I know.
Anyway, don't want to keep you for too long, it's Friday and you're certainly busy. I was in Staples this morning buying colouring pencils for the boys(after sharpening old ones for a good 30 minutes yesterday I decided that an upgrade was in order), when I spotted some ring binder pockets with flaps!
Imagine my delight! Those pesky circular needles all over my floor came to mind (ahem ahem... hypotheticallly saying of course) and quickly snatched them. (They're part of the Martha Steward range).
Cute little labes followed and a pretty blue ring binder...
Two sets of circular needle per page and nothing can escape those clever little flaps.
It's the little things, people. Always the little things.
