Another day, another tick.
This is one of those ridiculous project that obsessively occupied me for about a week and then got put 'on the pile'. It only needed a frame.
Yes, that's it.
Never mind the frame was bought the day after this little thing was finished... Sometimes 1 plus 1 takes a lot of time to make two.
I make no apologise. I know it'll happen again.
The story of this goes something like this... it was a cold January day and I was readine Jan's blog (Bemused). She's an amazing quilter and her posts are always inspiring. On that particular day she was talking about a 'reproduction' mini quilt she was making... and so I simply followed the link and made my own. The fabric came from the stash, the border is a thrifted square, the wadding a left over from a bigger project. 12" x 12".
As simple as that.
Then I badly hand quilted it and decided that hand quilting is not for me (as much as I like it...).
And then it sat on 'the pile' for months.
