Continuing my quest to free myself of all burdens (and focusing on finishing old projects rather than selling my children to the circus) I now give you... the creatively named 'scrappy crochet blanket
It's made entirely of sock yarn, a lot of it kindly donated by friendly bloggers... there's a limit to the amount of socks that one can knit and therefore the amount of scraps that's produced is limited too. That's when the kindness of 'strangers' came to the rescue. (And I like to think I provided a service too, people lighten their load, get rid of unwanted baggage, I recycle it and everyone is happy. It's environmentally friendly too, right? Win, win.)
No 2 has already 'dibbed' it. What? Don't your kids 'dib' everything? "Dib mine", "Dib I shower last", "Dib the first piece of cake". Dib the remote control, the corner of the sofa, first to the computer,.... we dib a lot in this house. We also 'pinky swear', because that is the ultimate commitment; heaven knows you can't go back to a 'pinky swear'!
Welcome to my world.
Anyway, I made him 'pinky swear' that he will not play tug of war with the dog this time (which was the primary cause of the demise of the first crochet blanket I've ever made...).
Tick. Another off the list, and out of my studio.
Happy Monday everybody.
