4**2013 - wingfeather 2 and 3 -

Now that Santa Claus is sipping Pina Coladas and bleaching his beard in the sun somewhere (what? don't you think so? Isn't he entitled to some me time?), it is safe to show you the two shawls I crochet(ed) for my mother and sister.

Yarn: Jade Sapphire, Cashmere silk 2 ply.

Colour: Scarab 117

Hook: 3.5mm.

Soft soft yarn.

For mum this one. 

Same hook and pattern, but the yarn was Jade Sapphire Mongolian Cashmere. Oh my oh my... fragile... but utterly divine.

The lightest, softest, warmest yarn I've ever used.

Sigh.  I was good.  I didn't keep it.
