I don't know about you, but I spend a stupid amount of time thinking what kind of knitting/crochet/sewing projects I should take on holiday.
This summer I settled for a sashiko kit, a bag full of fabric for paper pieced hexagons and a bunch of left-over sock yarn for a scrappy blanket.
The sashiko kit stayed in the suitcase.
No hexagon were sewn.
But the blanket... oh the blanket...
An ever increasing granny square.
Lots of small balls of wool fished randomly out of a cloth bag.
Still unfinished because I ran out of yarn... and I don't have any need for a pram size blanket!
I like the idea that it'll grow with time. A guilt free ufo.
Another way to store left-over yarn.
(I've got one more load of washing to do and then I'm done, hurray!)
