It's a truth universally acknowledged but seldom practiced that if you work and work on a project eventually that project gets finished.
Funny that.
So I therefore give you the "Mizutama Shawl".
Applause.
Please.
This thing almost defeated me.
It's not that it was hard... it's just that I never got to the 'relaxing phase'... it seems to have taken forever.
But it's just me, I'm a very slow knitter who likes quick results. (yeah, I know, those two don't go well together)
The result is gorgeous though, especially after a spell of extreme blocking.
After I casted off it was a crumpled mess, after washing and blocking... it was magic.
Kneedles: 3.75mm, small circular
Yarn: Spud & Chloe Fine, in green, two skeins
Pattern: Mizutama, on Ravelry
And although it doesn't exactly go with what I'm wearing today... it's so stupidly cold at the moment...
that who cares?
