And it's been 'tested' already, with very positive results.
The crochet border stops the shawl from rolling and adds a whimsical touch.
And it didn't cost a penny.
My favourite so far.
That is absolutely gorgeous! The crochet edging is a stroke of genius. How very satisfying! Can I cheekily ask where you got your crochet edging pattern from as that is too lovely not to copy (God knows my stash is large enough to support a similar item!).

Oh, you have motivated me to get a move on with mine! I'm at the depressing each-row-takes-40-minutes stage. Yours is so pretty - I love it.

Oooh, now that is very gorgeous indeed. Not sure I can carry off a shawl but a scarf, now that would be do-able.

Like a beautiful heathery rainbow :)
Is it cotton, or a mix of fibres? (The top picture looks like cotton to me.) You have a wonderful eye for colour and texture Monica - would love to see you modelling it! x

That is really lovely! Well done. And free too! You have to have a good eye for colour to make it all work together that well.

Where did my comment disappear to? I left you a very flattering one, right before I begged you to crochet a border on the too short sleeves of my cardigan that I have been knitting for TWO YEARS now. That thing needs to be finished. I cannot bear to rip the sleeves out. Again.

Oh how fabulous! I can totally see you in it! And you finished it so quickly--before I even got a chance to offer you more of my sock yarn scraps :) K x
