On the night before Christmas, a child in a house
As the whole family slept, behaved just like a mouse...
And crept on soft toes down red-carpeted stairs.

I just couldn't resist this book
The illustrations are just dreamy and the words... a traditional story in modern times... perfect.
I'm planning to read it to the boys tonight; who knows, out of three one might listen a little... (and chances are it'll be the one who 'knows' wink/wink)
