Once upon a time I had this gorgeously soft t-shirt.
The softest cotton, layered for added comfort, grey and stripes!
I thought me and the t-shirt were going to be in it together forever. One of 'those'.
But then, holes started to appear in the front; the seat belt too tight? too much time at my desk/sewing machine? too fat?
Very sad.
I didn't want to say goodbye to its grey softness, so instead of the bin I turned to Alabama (this book to be precise) and with a bit of work at the top
and a bit more at the bottom
we're rocking again.
The double layer made it the perfect project for a spot of stencil cutting and running stitches... and such a quick one too!
Happy, very happy now!
