... till the books are unpacked.
Yesterday I spent 4 hours unpacking 26 boxes of books. 26. That's a lot of lifting. My shoulders ache this morning. We've had bookshelves built in the family room and it's such a pleasure to see all those stories in a rows. Looking at me looking at them. I'm very particular about how the books are displayed. They have to be by publisher, they look better that way, no messy alphabet order. Then within that books by the same author must be near each other. I get very crossed when a writer swaps editor... it messes up the whole system! Oh and hardbacks do not mingle with paperbacks either. It's very classist! How do you display your books?
Anyway the whole place feels more like MY home now.
My collection of 'Little Women' is out there too! All 54 copies...

Can you believe it's May already?
PS... is there anybody out there who would like to swap a copy of the new edition of Blueprint magazine (the white one with the table on the front...) for an English magazine? Pretty please?
