Very beautiful! Colours of Spring on a dreary winter morning! May it help start your mornings off with a smile!

Both sides are just adorable!

*find your coffee* ;-)

Pretty! It feels like spring today - bright even if it is a bit windy so I am taking the boys off for a scamper. Your placemat has put me in the mood!

very cute! i'm so jealous.

if it doesn't snow soon and get pretty over here, then i'm going to be demanding spring time as well. i usually love winter but all the grey skies and brown-ness everywhere has gotten to me.

I like spring colors all year round. It is so pretty and I'm glad you were able to get your hands on some DS fabric! It'll be neat to see what you do for hubby. :o)

I love your placemat - perfect colours to lift winter spirits.

Mmmm, loverly. Another thing to add to my things I must sew list.

My sister bought me an Italian espresso maker for Christmas. Fresh coffee whenever I want. Love it. Love my sister.

just lovely! and very "happy" :)

verrry pretty!

Thanks for the comment about the bag. Im afraid its all I can do though. I dont know how to crochet anything else! I would love to make some crocheted flowers like your garland but have been unable to so far. I need t0 find someone local with amazing crochet skills to pass her crochet legacy on to me. I am desperate to learn! Your blog is fabulous and very inspiring!

very nice - the yellow and green would definitely wake me up in the mornings!

Its so lovely - perfect for every morning, the bright colours sure will put a smile on your face!

love it..you are on a roll. I did one in some DS fabric but in autumn.
look at you go....are you stuck indoors??

Now *that* is one fabulous placemat. Well done!

beautiful placemat.....even more reason to sit down and have a cup of coffee!

Ah, that second Denyse Schmidt that you used as the backing is one of my favourite fabrics ever! I bought a yard in NYC last year and I ration it out so carefully - I think it's been in nearly every quilt I've ever done, in very small amounts! Lovely creations.

This is the prettiest placemat!!!

If you wanted to write out a tutorial for your readers about how to make one of these, I'm sure we'd be happy! This looks fantastic!
